Funke’s TPL brazed plate heat exchanger has been developed for mechanical engineering and plant engineering - for cooling of hydraulic oils and motor oils. etc.)
Higher viscosity media are handled with our much smaller Funke TPL
compared with standard plate heat exchanger designs. The volume of the flow gap is approximately 80%
larger than standard brazed plate heat exchangers. The large gap, combined with our special turbolators
and diagonal media flows allow larger diameter connects and result in very high
heat transfer rates.
Applications: System separation (heating, cooling, condensing), waste heat recovery, process, hydraulic and motor oil cooling, and other industrial applications where small size and high efficiencies are needed.
Limit conditions:
•operating pressure max. 30 bar
•operating temperature min.-160°C, max. +200°C
•heat duty 2.0 o 2000 kW
Caution: on principle
brazed plate heat exchangers are unsuited for: seawater, ammonia, de-mineralized
water, silicone oil and high-chloride media.
