Funke BCF, TDW and shell & tube heat exchangers
 

Funke’s BCF Model series for universal use in modular system construction boasts exchange surfaces of 0.11 m2 to 11.45 m2., 110 graduated building sizes in three principal material groups.

They are available with fixed or removable tube bundles,   Fied tube bundled units are available in a tube-side one pass, two pass or four passes.  Removable tube bundle units are available in in tube-side one or two passes.  Two baffle designs are available, “O” – close baffle spacing with higher efficiency and higher pressure drops, and “W” with wider baffle spacing to accommodate lower pressure drop requirements.

Funke’s TDW (Turbo-Spin) heat exchangers are compact units with removable tube-bundles for cooling of hydraulic oils.

xchanger surfaces from 0.15 m2 - 4.00 m2 can be installed in fixed and graduated building sizes.The highly efficient spin-shaped oil flow on the shell side is generated by the special helical screws.  The helical pitch can be adapted to the flow quantity. Two versions are available:  “O” - low helical screw pitch for liquid oils.  And “W” -  - high helical screw pitch for viscid oils providing a compromise between an optimum heat transfer and pressure drops.
